Eleven Things

Brooke tagged me in this post earlier this week. The deal is, you answer 11 questions about yourself then come up with 11 questions and tag people to do it as well. Since I already did this post I'm not going to tag anyone...But I thought it would be fun to answer the questions anyway! They were some really good questions.

1. Where's your favorite place to shop for clothes?

I'm not really a big shopper. I like Forever 21 because the clothes are cheap, and I'm starting to love thrift stores. 

2. What do you always do first thing when you wake up?

Usually I grab my computer and get back in bed for a few minutes. 

3. What did you want to be when you were little?

When I was 4 I wanted to be a firetruck. Yes you read that right, I legit wanted to be a fire TRUCK. Then when I was like 5 or 6 I decided I wanted to be a doctor because I thought they could wear whatever they wanted to work. Not really sure where I got that. Then when I was in 2nd grade I realized that I wanted to be a teacher and I've stuck with that ever since!

4. How old were you when you had your first kiss?

HA oh boy. I had my first peck when I was like 12 with my friends younger brother. He was only a year younger than us, and I had the biggest crush on him. But I had my first real kiss when I was 15 with my first boyfriend. 

5. What's your favorite tv show?

Right now it's How I Met Your Mother. I also love New Girl, Modern Family, and Pretty Little Liars (which I have not been able to keep up with and it's driving me crazy!)

6. When are you the most happiest?

This is tough. I go through phases where I'm really really happy, and other times it's a struggle to keep a smile on my face. I love spending time with my friends and family, especially when I don't have to worry about school or other things. I also love reading and writing.

7. What gets you inspired/motivated for anything?

My future. I've always wanted the same 3 things for my life: 1) To be a teacher 2) To be a wife 3) To be a mommy. I know that things won't be perfect once I am all 3 of those things, but I feel like they're my purpose, and I can't wait to see what my future has for me!

8. What is your dream job?

I want to be either a Kindergarten or 2nd grade teacher :)

9. When you have spare time, what do you do?

Relax! haha free time is hard to come by lately. But I love to spend time with my friends, watch movies, paint my nails, write, and READ!

10. What made you want to start blogging?

Actually, Brooke is the one who inspired me to start blogging! She started out with a tumblr and I thought that would be fun, but then I moved to blogger when I realized how amazing the blog world can be! I wish I was still more into it, but blogging is more work than it seems! I still love it though and I'm so thankful for the friends I've made through blogging...even if I don't keep in touch with them as well as I should (cough, cough Leah and Morgan)

11. What is your favorite place in the world?

Hm. I guess it would be Connecticut. That's where I grew up. My whole family besides my mom and brother live there, so it's always nice to see them. I just have so many memories there that I guess it has become sort of like a fairy tale for me. I'd never move back there, I can't stand the cold anymore, but I think I like keeping it as just a place to visit, it keeps the magic.
