October 11

Last night I overnight babysat for my two favorite children on the face of the planet. This morning, I woke up at 5:45 (oh, my, yes you read that correctly) and cuddled with them for a few minutes before we all started our day.

I swear, there is something about a sleeping child that makes you forget about every ounce of attitude they have in them. Anyway, 6:15 rolled around and sadly it was time to get up and get ready for school. Of course they spent an absurd amount of time getting ready (you'd think they were 15 year olds getting ready for prom) and finally we were out the door.

By 7:30 I was back at my apartment, sending e-mails, catching up on homework (lets be serious, I didn't do much), cleaning my room, and....watching Parks and Recreation. Later this afternoon I had to go to class (my only class of the week since it was Fall Break!) with the professor who I...just...don't...get along with. BUT GUESS WHAT. She let us out early! I never though I'd see the day! It's a 3 hour class and she let us out an hour and fifteen minutes in. I'm still in amazement.

After a quick trip to Target, and a bit more homework, one of my roommates, Linsey, calls me and asks me to look and see if she has any food in the fridge. Let's be honest. We're poor college students. There's no food in the fridge. So, my other roommate Kristen decides we should go out for dinner and it doesn't take much convincing. Hence, Impromptu Roomie Night 2012.
Kristen and me!

Linsey and me!

We're making emoji faces. Can you guess which ones?

I completely agree about the sleeping kids, same thing applies for babies. You completely forget that they kept you up all night when you catch a glimpse of their sweet faces when they actually do sleep! Cute outfits!
