It's true, blogs are diaries. Blogs are public, and anyone can read them. Diaries are secret and for your eyes only.
But don't you ever wish that blogs
were diaries? Don't you ever just want to spill you heart all over the internet for everyone to read? Don't you want advice from people you don't know and encouragement from someone who stumbled upon your blog?
No? I'm the only one? Well that's fine. All I know is that I wrote a long and dramatic entry in my diary today (although I call it a journal, because I'm a
grown up) and part of me wishes I could type it all out here, tag "life" and "love" in it, and hit publish.
But I'm not about to do that.

I agree- you articulated that need so well. I have wanted to post thoughts numerous times, but then there's the off chance someone will see it that I don't want to...and so yikes, publishing isn't an option!
