I know, it's amazing, isn't it?!
So I wanted to tell you guys about it.
So that you could understand what it is better.
And I guess, so that you can be jealous.
First of all, I'm an Elementary Education major.
And a Children's Literature minor.
My Disney Class is for my minor.
But here's the thing: we don't only watch movies.
The professor lectures and lectures. And it gets boring sometimes.
We're basically learning about how Disney has evolved since it started. We started with Oswald, moved to Mickey, then Snow White, and now we're on Cinderella.
It's a beautiful thing.
Except I have a test next week. And I have to get an A on it. Because I have to get an A in that class. Because who gets a B in Disney Class?
A dream is a wish your heart makes!

I once took a psychology of women class in which we basically sat around discussing how obnoxious disney female characters are (not even getting started on the villains, evil stepmothers, etc). It was interesting to look at Disney in a different way though!
Do you learn about any of the illustrators or directors? My ex-boyfriend's great-grandfather was one of the head illustrators (he drew the Mickey Mouse cartoon at the beginning of some of the movies, invented Donald Duck, drew the lost boys, etc). His name is Judge Whitaker. It was always a hoot to talk to his son (my ex's grandpa) about it. Apparently Walt Disney told him that starting a resort was a bad idea! Haha.
Besides the boring lectures, it sounds like a pretty awesome class haha
This is awesome!
Also, I wanted to tell you that (since you are a follower of mine; was Love & Life now champagne wishes.) I have had some issues with my new blog set up, tried to create a new one under the same account with similar issues so I have created a new account under a new e-mail address & I wanted to make sure I tell all of my followers so if you follow me at http://melissa-champagnewishes.blogspot.com that would be so greatly appreciated! I will (when I get to it) unfollow you from my old account which I won't use anymore and re-follow you with my new one(this one)! Thanks again! Have a great week! xo melissa
